Verdict
Same failure as the Añejo, less time in the barrel. 400 Conejos' entire aged program is conglomerate logic: the base is built for a shelf price, the proof is built for that price, and the wood is asked to carry a bottle that was never going to carry itself. Aging makes thin mezcal sweeter; it doesn't make it interesting.
