Verdict
Eduardo Cortez Perez is a serious maestro and this is a serious attempt, but the bottle tries to say too much at once. Three heavy wild agaves (arroqueño, madrecuishe, tepextate) in one bottle at 47.3% is a composition problem most blenders don't solve – each agave demands structural space the others can't cede. Cortez Perez does the technical work; the recipe overreaches. Reviewer consensus aligns. Instructive about why 5 Sentidos's best ensambles usually stay at two agaves.
Ambitious ensambles can overload a bottle
Tasting notes
Nose: Complex with mineral, faint floral
Palate: Enormous density at 47.3% – arroqueño + madrecuishe + tepextate all carrying weight, and the bottle struggles to hold the composition
Finish: Very long, complex, slightly chaotic
The bottom line
Interesting more than successful
