The smart ensambles pair agaves that cover each other's gaps, and Jesús Correa's does exactly that: pichumetl's austere karwinskii minerality given a floral ceiling by the papalometl. It stays lean where a lesser blend would turn sweet. Buy it if NETA's mineral ensambles are your register; this works the same seam from Concepción Buena Vista.

Nose: Wet limestone, white flower, celery leaf, green pear, a saline thread

Palate: Lean then lifting at 48-51%. Pichumetl brings the dry mineral spine, papalometl the floral top, the two pulling opposite directions without breaking

Finish: Long, mineral, cooling
