Verdict
The Logia line is where Amaras stops being a marketing exercise and starts being a producer. The mexicano is cleaner and more textured than the base range by a clear margin, though still a couple proof points shy of where mexicano actually wants to live. Buy the Logia tier when you're buying Amaras – the rest of the range is a different argument entirely.
The Logia label earns the premium across the range
Tasting notes
Nose: Green herb, then mineral damp, faint smoke, dry hay
Palate: Cleaner and more textured than the regular Amaras at 43%. The Logia production signals hold
Finish: Drying, cooling – long
The bottom line
A legitimate Logia pick
