Verdict

Competent without being memorable – cuishe is the karwinskii easy button in Bozal's lineup, and it reads that way on the palate. Vago's cuishe outperforms at similar money, and the Mezcalosfera individual-maestro cuishes meaningfully so. Skip this one in favor of either; the Bozal range has better bottles to reach for.

A competent cuishe at mid-tier Bozal discipline

Tasting notes

Nose: Green pepper, wet stone, mineral damp, faint smoke and a trace of dried hay

Palate: Lean and herbal at 47%. The Cuishe reads cleanly – the agave's vegetal-wet slate register is legible across the palate, and the bottle reads as middle-of-the-range Bozal, neither distinctive nor disappointing

Finish: Cooling, drying, with a slow green-herb fade. Stays long

The bottom line

Fine
