Verdict
Not the El Jolgorio coyote, but in the same conversation, which is a sentence that should have sounded impossible two years ago. Coyote is scarce enough that any legitimate bottling earns attention; Convite's version is the answer when the Jolgorio is on allocation or off the shelf entirely. A coyote for drinkers who couldn't get the coyote.
Every legitimate coyote is worth knowing
Tasting notes
Nose: Lavender. Then dark fruit, hot stone, faint meat
Palate: Complex and layered, coyote's rarity matched by Convite's care
Finish: Floral, mineral. Very long
The bottom line
A credible coyote alternative
