Verdict
Convite Esencial is the wrong bottle to anchor a producer's range on. At 38% the aromatics are diluted past recovery, and the marketing does most of the heavy lifting. The higher Convite bottles are better; this one is how you lose readers.
Proof is not a minor detail. It's the whole structure
Tasting notes
Nose: Faint smoke, then banana, confected vanilla
Palate: Thin, sweet, a manufactured easiness that comes through as cut-with-water
Finish: Short. Hollow
The bottom line
Skip it. The ensamble above it is the one to buy
