Verdict
Of De Ella's catalog this is the bottle that makes the strongest case – 46% espadín from a women-forward label is a useful entry point. Reach for it over Amaras' entry espadín when you want mission and proof aligned. Still would pair better with an actual named maestro on the label, but the liquid does its work. Competent mission spirit.
An entry espadín that respects the drinker's proof math
Tasting notes
Nose: Cooked agave, green citrus, a warm smoke
Palate: 46% ABV carries the espadín past commercial territory, an entry bottle that doesn't flinch on proof is unusual and welcome
Finish: Medium-long, clean, faintly peppery
The bottom line
A respectable entry espadín with proof honesty
