A 5% ABV canned cocktail – listed under mezcal, but that's a stretch of the category by any reasonable reading

- Agave: Espadin
- ABV: 5%
- Price: $40 ($)
Verdict
5% ABV puts it closer to hard seltzer than to the category we cover in these reviews. As a canned summer drink it's fine. As mezcal it's irrelevant – the category has no use for RTDs at seltzer proof. Consensus 4.0 rates it as a cocktail, which is the correct frame.
Shouldn't be on a mezcal shelf in the first place
Tasting notes
Nose: Cucumber, lime zest, a faint mezcal smoke underneath, a trace of soda-water neutrality
Palate: Watered-down and sweetened at 5%. This is a ready-to-drink cocktail in a can, not a mezcal – the agave base is structurally irrelevant to the finished drink, and what you're tasting is cucumber-lime seltzer with a hint of smoke
Finish: Sweet, clean, with a faint cucumber fade. Short
The bottom line
Worth owning from a cooler, not a mezcal shelf
