Verdict
Fidencio has a history of making wild-agave bottles at more reasonable prices than the specialty importers, and the madrecuishe is one of them. At 45% the agave's full karwinskii weight isn't there the way it is at Vago's 51%, but the bottle reads honest rather than compromised, the producer chose proof appropriate to the price tier rather than padding numbers for marketing. Consensus matches. A legitimate gateway madrecuishe.
Madrecuishe you can afford
Tasting notes
Nose: Dark honey, then hot stone, warm earth, soft leather
Palate: Medium-dense. At 45%, less imposing than the high-proof madrecuixes, but honest
Finish: Drying, warm. Long
The bottom line
A respectable madrecuishe at a value-tier price
