Verdict
Tobalá that sounds right on paper and sleeps in the glass. Gente de Mezcal keeps underselling its own addresses, this Guélavila tobalá ought to drink louder than it does. For the same money, Banhez or Fósforo tobalá will do more.

Tasting notes
Nose: Mild honey with light floral
Palate: 46% should give tobalá more room than it uses, the aromatics are muted, the mid-palate thin, the perfume tobalá is known for only partly delivered
Finish: Clean, slightly bitter
The bottom line
