Verdict
Not every refrescador bottle is a heavy-weight, this one's a welterweight. Gozona's tobaziche is lighter on its feet than the san martinero, cleaner than the barril chino, and makes a decent case for the full karwinskii flight. Buy if you're building the set, otherwise buy the san martinero first.

Tasting notes
Nose: Cut grass. Then lime zest, white pepper, wet stone
Palate: 50.7% and refrescador; the tobaziche karwinskii comes through bright and saline. Leaner than the san martinero, a little less textured, but still well-built
Finish: Mineral, dry. Long
The bottom line
Buy if building a karwinskii set
