Verdict
A bottle you can buy anywhere, for reasons. Gracias a Dios Espadín is the category's definition of adequate. Vida is still the honest-priced bar well; Banhez at slightly more is a step up; this sits between them, doing neither job better. Pass for either.

Tasting notes
Nose: Cooked agave with a light smoke, vanilla
Palate: 45% is honest; the liquid is polished in the way mass-market mezcal is polished. Nothing off, nothing memorable
Finish: Short-medium, clean
The bottom line
Pass. Vida or Banhez outflank it
