Verdict

A 50% espadín without a brand story – just the proof and the maestro. Miguel Martinez Jerónimo lets Granalta trade on the liquid. Up there with Geü Beez and Fuego y Humo in the honest-proof San Dionisio espadín bracket. Buy it as a house-pour upgrade.

Tasting notes

Nose: Cooked agave up front. Green herb, dry stone, lime pith underneath

Palate: 50% keeps the espadín fully present – cooked-sweet core, tahona grip, a saline drag through the mid-palate that most commercial bottles cannot manage

Finish: Clean, warming – long

The bottom line

Buy. Honest-proof espadín
