Verdict
Barril is where karwinskii stops apologizing for being dry. Leonardo Hernandez's is clean and austere – not a crowd-pleaser, but the pour you want after a sweeter bottle. Comfortable alongside Wahaka or Real Minero barril at a lower price.

Tasting notes
Nose: Cucumber, then green pepper, wet stone, cut grass
Palate: Barril's lean karwinskii mineral register, 46% Grulani reads saline and dry through the mid. Nothing sweet, nothing forced
Finish: Flinty, clean
The bottom line
Buy for karwinskii drinkers
