Verdict
A tobalá that doesn't need to sell you sweetness. Grulani's is what you pour for the drinker who loves Jolgorio or Real Minero tobalá but can't find them. Buy as a top-tier tobalá at fair-price retail.

Tasting notes
Nose: Honey, wet stone, dried flowers, citrus peel
Palate: 46% lets the tobalá's florals ride; the Guélavila register is drier than Chichicapam – less honey, more mineral. Leonardo Hernandez makes the agave sound grown-up
Finish: Floral, dry – long
The bottom line
Buy. Near-peer to Jolgorio tobalá
