Verdict
Victor Ramos is one of Gusto Histórico's most reliable hands, and this four-agave refrescador release plays to his strengths – the cold-water coils let the aromatics hold together instead of flattening. It's the rare multi-agave where the blend actually clarifies rather than muddles. Sits closer to Real Minero's philosophy than to a bar-well ensamble.
An ensamble where you can pick out every voice in the chord
Tasting notes
Nose: Roasted pepper with cocoa nib, wet clay
Palate: 49.1% carries a dense, layered body – the arroqueño anchors, the karwinskii pair laces in green astringency, and the tepextate spice floats on top
Finish: Savory, mineral – long
The bottom line
Lands well if you like your ensambles dense and legible
