Verdict
Hedonistas de la Fe's tobalá is polite, well-put-together, and quieter than the tobalás we hold as reference (Juárez at Gusto Histórico, Lalocura, Real Minero). At 46% the agave's natural projection is fine but not loud. A reasonable first tobalá for a drinker transitioning from espadín, less useful as a second or third. Buy if you already like the brand.
A tobalá that whispers in a category that usually sings
Tasting notes
Nose: Wildflower – then honey, green melon rind
Palate: 46% – a clean, cool tobalá with the usual Matatlán softness; it drinks gently and doesn't press for attention
Finish: Floral, warm
The bottom line
A quiet first tobalá
