Verdict

Koch's olla-de-barro line is where the producer's serious work happens. The arroqueño in that line is significantly more complete than the standard release, same agave, same producer, clay-still texture doing the structural work copper-still can't quite replicate. Side by side the bottles demonstrate exactly what drinkers pay for when they pay for clay-still production. Consensus 4.4 is earned. The Koch arroqueño worth the premium.
