Verdict
Le Tribute Durango is serviceable Durango cenizo without a clear reason to pick it over the better-known brands at similar money – Lamata at 50% and Lagrimas de Dolores Joven at 45% both outwork this. Consensus 3.6; we agree.
A Durango cenizo at 45% – fine, but the state has better
Tasting notes
Nose: Mesquite smoke, cooked cenizo, mineral, desert herb
Palate: Middle-weight and correct at 45%. Le Tribute's cenizo is a fine Durango entry but doesn't distinguish itself against Lamata and Lagrimas de Dolores in the same category
Finish: Mesquite, cool close – medium
The bottom line
A pass. Lamata Cenizo Durango is the better buy
