Verdict
Los Cuerudos' cuishe is the kind of mid-shelf karwinskii bottle that gets dismissed because it doesn't shout and doesn't need to. At 46% the agave is doing its thing, bell-pepper-and-clay, drying, mineral, and nothing in the production is trying to sand it smooth. It's a workmanlike cuishe in the best sense. A good entry if Real Minero's pricing is out of reach.
Clean cuishe at the floor of its working proof
Tasting notes
Nose: Green pepper, wet clay, light mineral, dry hay
Palate: The karwinskii signature is cleanly present, with the 46% proof giving enough structure to carry the cuishe's characteristic green-pepper lean. Restrained and correct
Finish: Drying, vegetal
The bottom line
Honest cuishe at an approachable tier
