Verdict
Jabalí is already the most demanding agave on the shelf; puntas compound that demand. This bottle works for drinkers who already know what jabalí tastes like at 48% and want to argue with it at 69% – a reference point, not a starter. Pour small, add a drop, decide.
Jabalí at 69% is a proof demand you answer with water or not at all
Tasting notes
Nose: Green walnut, wet limestone, chalky citrus, a whiff of kerosene
Palate: At 69% the jabalí's soapy-herbal profile is pushed into territory most drinkers will read as aggressive. The clay distillation adds earth under the heat, but proof is doing most of the talking
Finish: Hot, medicinal. Long
The bottom line
For jabalí obsessives. Everyone else should start elsewhere
