Verdict
Honor Floriberta Barranca by name. Abocados go wrong the way flavored vodkas go wrong – this one doesn't, because the bark amplifies what the cupreata was already doing. Commit: take it when you see it, the consensus 4.9 is conservative. Closer to what Cuentacuentos' best infused releases accomplish than anything on a typical shelf. Reference-grade abocado, and the category barely exists.
Abocado done as ritual, not gimmick – Floriberta's quiet masterpiece
Tasting notes
Nose: Honey, then dark tree bark, dried fruit, warm spice
Palate: Abocado (infused) cupreata at 49% – Floriberta Barranca macerates with cumilín bark and the result reads deeper and more resinous than any straight papalote. The bark doesn't dominate; it completes
Finish: Spiced, warming – very long
The bottom line
The rare abocado that redeems the format. Buy
