Maguey Melate Ensamble 4
Velasco Ensamble 4 – the long-finished closer

Verdict
Ensamble 4 is the closer statement of Velasco's series – if Ensamble 3 is the peak, this one is the patient descent. Hunt both together for the full argument. Closer to what Derrumbes achieves at its best than typical Jalisco ensambles – commit to at least one of these two bottles if you're serious about the state.
The Velasco finale – weightier, more patient, still his hand
Tasting notes
Nose: Warm earth with dried citrus, wild herb
Palate: At 47.8% Luis Velasco's final ensamble in the series runs dense and deliberate – the Filipino-still aromatic signature is there, the blend tilts earthier than Ensamble 3
Finish: Very long, warming, herbal
The bottom line
The Velasco closer. Worth owning alongside Ensamble 3
