Verdict
Miel de Tierra's Joven is a paper-different bottle from the Añejo but functionally close, azul tequilana, 40%, Zacatecas commerce. One reviewer at 3.0; we come in at more skeptical. If you're buying for the brand it's consistent with itself, but if you're buying mezcal for the agave's voice, this is the wrong shelf.
A mezcal that wishes it were a tequila, and drinks like it got its wish
Tasting notes
Nose: Faint smoke, then baked pear, light oak, vanilla
Palate: Tequilana azul at 40% – the Zacatecas tequila-leaning register, soft and sweet rather than savory
Finish: Sweet, clean
The bottom line
Pass. The Salmiana is where Teresa's signature actually shows
