Verdict
The 1938 is an interesting companion to the 1937 – same producer, cirial plus espadín, and the blend reads as a gentler version of the single. Three reviewers at 3.2 is fair; our read matches. If you own the 1937, you already know what this bottle does. If you don't, start with the 1937 and come back.
Adding espadín to cirial tames it. Sometimes that's a loss
Tasting notes
Nose: Cooked agave with light smoke, green herb
Palate: 46.2% ensamble where the espadín's sweetness softens the cirial's herbal edge – more approachable, less distinctive than the 1937 single
Finish: Clean, gently herbal. Medium
The bottom line
Skip in favor of the 1937
