Verdict
Wilfredo and Ramón García work barril at slightly lower proof than Miguel García Ortíz, and the bottle shows it, lifted where Miguel's is concentrated. Both versions live at the top of the catalog; which you prefer is a taste question, not a quality one. One reviewer at 4.5 and we match. A pairing flight with the Miguel bottle is a serious education.
NETA's catalog is a lab for maestro-by-maestro karwinskii readings
Tasting notes
Nose: Green herb, lime leaf, wet limestone, a soft pepper
Palate: 47.1% barril that reads a touch more floral than Miguel's, but shares the long karwinskii mineral spine. Two hands in collaboration visible in the integration
Finish: Mineral, dry-floral. Long
The bottom line
Buy both this and the Miguel García Ortíz. They're a pair
