Verdict
Mexicano verde is a rhodacantha variety you don't see single-bottled often, and Primitivo Vásquez's pairing with madrecuishe is a smart demonstration of why it works. Three reviewers at 4.0; we agree. A lighter, greener counterpoint to the karwinskii-heavy NETA catalog, buy it in the same flight as a Hermógenes bicuishe for the range.
Rhodacantha plus karwinskii is an understudied pairing. Primitivo writes it
Tasting notes
Nose: Dry grass, warm citrus, wet stone, a savory-green lift
Palate: 46.4% ensamble where madrecuishe's mineral spine meets mexicano verde's rhodacantha brightness, a rare Miahuatlán variety combination that reads fresh
Finish: River rock, green-citrus. Stays long
