Verdict
Another abocado from Ojo de Dios's flavored line, and another bottle that isn't trying to be judged as a neat pour. Hibiscus is a more successful infusion than the coffee, it leans on a flavor that already plays well with mezcal – but the 35% tells you the priority is mixability, not expression. Pass unless you specifically want a batched cocktail base.
A Jamaica Paloma in a bottle. That's the ceiling, and also the point
Tasting notes
Nose: Dried hibiscus, tart cranberry
Palate: At 35% and infused, this drinks as a flavored bottle first and a mezcal second. Tart, floral, low-burn
Finish: Tart, sweet-leaning. Short
The bottom line
Pass unless you're batching hibiscus palomas for a party
