Verdict
Pescador de Sueños hand-sells to Europe in small batches, and the cuishe is the bottle that earns that reputation. Leoncio Santiago works in Matatlán, but this doesn't taste like Matatlán, it tastes like a producer who learned the neighborhood and then chose to ignore its habits. Track it if you can find it. For a cuishe reference point, we'd put it next to Real Minero before we'd put it next to anything commercial.
This is what karwinskii tastes like when nobody's trying to sell you anything
Tasting notes
Nose: Wet flint, green apple skin
Palate: Mineral-forward and dry, with brown sugar pooling at the edges. 49% gives the karwinskii structure room to stretch, nothing sweet, nothing performative
Finish: Stony, apple-crisp
The bottom line
Worth the chase. Europe-export runs make US availability erratic
