Verdict
Every brand with a serious catalog also needs a working pour for cocktail programs, and Por Lo Bueno calls theirs Elemental. Credit for the honest name. Skip it for sipping; the 45% straight espadín below is the one with actual structure. Better cocktail options exist at this price (Banhez, Del Maguey Vida) but this works.
Elemental is a truthful name – for better and worse
Tasting notes
Nose: Light cooked agave with faint smoke
Palate: Thin, polite, uncomplicated. 42% is below sipping-range and the bottle's name admits the point – this is Por Lo Bueno's bar-well espadín, not its sipping espadín. Honest about what it is
Finish: Clean, gone – short
The bottom line
Mixer only. Skip for sipping
