Verdict
Santo Domingo Albarradas is not the usual espadín postal code, and Abel Martínez's version reads measurably different from the Chichicapa or San Baltazar Guélavila defaults, drier, more mineral, leaner. Series 4 is mature work. Pick it when you want to understand how geography shifts the same agave; pair it with Berta Vásquez's espadín for the comparison.
Same agave, different valley, measurably different bottle
Tasting notes
Nose: A green top over cooked agave, herb, warm stone
Palate: Medium-weight, Abel Martínez's Santo Domingo Albarradas espadín running cleaner and drier than the Valles Centrales standard. Community matters; terroir shifts the agave
Finish: Mineral, dry. Long
