Rezpiral Tobaziche
The anonymous Rezpiral – the one to skip

- Agave: Tobaziche
- ABV: 46%

Verdict
Rezpiral's catalog is built on individual mezcaleros; a bottle labeled only "tobaziche" – Berta's name is in the metadata but not on the front, sits oddly in the lineup, and tastes oddly too. The proof doesn't honor the agave; the angles aren't there. At 2.0
Tobaziche at 46% with no other flex is the one to leave on the shelf
Tasting notes
Nose: Faint wet stone with not much else at the top
Palate: Underweight at 46% for a tobaziche that should be cutting through at 48%+. Thin where the agave asks to be stony, flat where it asks to be angular
Finish: Clean, forgettable. Stays short
The bottom line
A skip. Buy Simeón's tobaziche in the same catalog
