Verdict
Rosaluna is mezcal for restaurants that want a mezcal on the cocktail list and don't want to train the bar on it. The liquid is competent and anonymous. Méndez-León Jiménez's name in the credits deserves better; the brand is engineered for placement, not pour. Consensus 2.9 is right-sized.
The name on the label is longer than the flavor on the palate
Tasting notes
Nose: Light smoke with faint citrus, a nondescript sweetness
Palate: 40% is the categorical tell; the bottle behaves like a hospitality brand designed around a cocktail spec sheet. Clean, inoffensive, absent
Finish: Clean, forgettable. Short
The bottom line
A skip. Del Maguey Vida at similar money does the same job honestly
