Verdict

Jabalí below 50 usually wastes itself; Guillermo Sánchez Lucas comes in at 48.33 and pulls the agave up by blending with tepextate's heat and tobalá's structure. This is the wild-ensamble math Mezcalosfera's batch releases get right. 4.0 lands easily; the composition is ambitious and the proof honors it.

Jabalí demands 48 minimum. Guillermo writes the check

Tasting notes

Nose: Dried chile, then green pepper, honey, wet stone, a rose top note

Palate: 48.33% is the right floor, jabalí gets its ceremony, tepextate gets its green snap, tobalá anchors the sweetness. Three-note chord, not three-note muddle

Finish: Warm, mineral-peppery, long

The bottom line

Buy if you want three rare agaves in one generous pour
