Verdict
Largo solo is a tougher commercial sell than the ensamble, it's spikier and more particular. Félix Cruz still makes it clean and honest at proof; the agave's idiosyncrasy is the whole pleasure. No consensus score; reading at 4.0. Between this and the largo-espadín ensamble, most drinkers should start with the ensamble.
Largo unblended is largo with nowhere to hide
Tasting notes
Nose: Wet stone – then tropical fruit peel, a saline mist, crushed herb
Palate: 47–52% keeps largo's unusual fruit-plus-mineral character legible; without espadín's sweetness, the bottle runs leaner and stranger
Finish: Cool, saline-floral, long
The bottom line
