Zacatoro – the sacatoro agave gets its own bottle

Verdict
Sacatoro is a Guerrero agave that rarely shows up labeled as itself; Sanzekán's transparency gives Cesareo García's version its own bottle. More rustic than the papalote lots in the same catalog, the hay-forward notes are distinct. Consensus 3.5 stands.
Sacatoro is cupreata's less-famous sibling. Worth meeting
Tasting notes
Nose: Dry hay with faint pepper, cool stone
Palate: 49% gives sacatoro (a cupreata relative) the proof it needs; Cesareo García's bottle carries as a slightly sharper, hayier cousin of papalote
Finish: Cool, dry, long
