Verdict

Sentir is Matatlán karwinskii made cooperatively polite. The bones are correct, cirial's celery-and-stone signature is legible at 46% – but the copper still and the house style both work against the strangeness that makes this agave worth hunting. Reach for Real Minero or a Nuestra Soledad cirial when you want to hear the agave actually speak.

Cirial without the weird is cirial without the point

Tasting notes

Nose: Wet stone, green celery, light smoke

Palate: 46% gives cirial room to breathe, herbal mid-palate, a mineral streak, but the copper still files down the edges the agave usually brings

Finish: Dry, lightly vegetal. Medium

The bottom line

Decent introduction to cirial. Not the one that will convert you
