Verdict
Six-agave blends usually collapse into something no single agave can claim – Fortunato Hernández builds his with enough restraint that you can hear each component. The 44.3% proof feels light on paper and lands right in the glass. It's not the loudest Sin Gusano bottle, but it's the most architectural. A committee-proof ensamble.
A six-agave ensamble where every voice stays audible
Tasting notes
Nose: Cooked agave with a green apple, wet stone, cracked pepper, dried herb
Palate: 44.3% is light for an ensamble this ambitious, arroqueño anchors, tobalá lifts, the cuishe-barril pair adds mineral spine, mexicano carries the pepper, espadín threads it all together
Finish: Complex, flinty. Long
The bottom line
The rare blend where every agave has a job. Buy it
