Verdict
Madrecuishe is the karwinskii that most rewards proof – below 50% the mineral weight and celery-green signature start underselling. Felipe Cortés's ImpEx madrecuishe lands at 49%, which is close enough to be credible but not close enough to rival his bicuishe at the same tier. Buy the bicuishe first; come back to this one for completist comparison.
Madrecuishe at 49% is the agave asking for a half-degree more
Tasting notes
Nose: Wet moss, then green celery, mineral depth, a floral top
Palate: 49% is the floor for madrecuishe and this bottle hovers right at it – Felipe Cortés's discipline is visible, but the mid-palate weight the agave rewards sits just below its full volume
Finish: River rock, herbal – long
The bottom line
Competent. The bicuishe is the better ImpEx pour
