Verdict

Yuu Baal's pechuga is the producer's most conservative move – the format is used as a flavor gesture rather than a transformation. At 48% the bones are right, but the kitchen-sink aromatics a great pechuga delivers aren't here. Skip it for Real Minero, Lalocura, or Del Maguey Pechuga if any are in reach.

Pechuga should transform. This one just politely accents

Tasting notes

Nose: Cooked agave, dried fruit, warm meat, faint smoke

Palate: Medium-bodied, the pechuga run adding a savory undertone that reads as restraint rather than depth. Clean, somewhat anonymous

Finish: Warming, mildly savory

The bottom line

A pass. The form wants more ambition than this
