Verdict
Bruxo No. 1 is engineered the way bar-rail mezcal gets engineered, rough edges filed off until the bottle can't embarrass anyone. The problem is mezcal's whole argument is rough edges. Fidencio Clásico is the same money with an actual voice. 3.7 consensus is brand halo; the glass doesn't earn it.
Commercial polish isn't a compliment
Tasting notes
Nose: Sweet smoke, cooked agave, faint banana
Palate: Smooth at 46% in the way commercial espadín tends to be smooth, low-friction, low-interest
Finish: Faintly sweet
The bottom line
A buy Fidencio Clásico instead
