Verdict
Por Lo Bueno's straight espadín is what the category calls honest work, nothing to argue with, nothing to crow about. At the price point, we'd reach for Nuestra Soledad, Banhez, or the Doña Juana espadín under the Mestiza Negra label first; this is a fair next choice. Use it as a gateway pour; the cirial and cuishe are where the brand's voice actually lives.

Tasting notes
Nose: Cooked agave, then mild smoke, green apple
Palate: Mid-weight, clean, uncomplicated. 45% gives the plant enough room to show its character without forcing anything. Por Lo Bueno's espadín sits in the same zone as Nuestra Soledad's but a shade less expressive
Finish: Warm, clean, medium
The bottom line
Fair but unmemorable. Buy the cirial instead
